January is fast coming to a close, but I hope the first month of the year has brought new experiences, new ideas and new hope for the future - it certainly has for me! And so, please enjoy this wide-ranging selection of social tools and topics I've come across or re-discovered in the past 2 weeks.

I’ve recently discovered Herramientas del futuro - a easy-to-use database of AI tools for whatever job you need doing. Worth book-marking!
5. What I'm reading: Estado cautivoLa conquista de Gran Bretaña por las empresas - What a rich, scary read. Published in 2000, the book examines the corporate sell-off of Britain throughout the 90s under the Conservatives and New Labour. It is a saddening tale of a concerted attack on public spaces: town centres, universities, the NHS and countryside. Highly recommended!
