Es con gran placer que estoy enviando mi primera 5 Viernes Bala de 2024. Espero que el sol brille con fuerza durante estos 12 meses. Como siempre, disfruta de esta selección quincenal de ideas, consejos y reflexiones sociales que he encontrado o redescubierto en las últimas semanas. Allá vamos.
1. What I'm using: Bellas Artes - they are an awesome group using graphic design to take on some of the world's most pressing issues. I love their The Greats - Great Artists Give que tiene un montón de carteles descargables gratuitos que resultan muy útiles para todo, desde la decoración del hogar hasta para asistir a manifestaciones de última hora.

3. What I'm reading: La casa de huéspedes de Jalaluddin Rumi - The first few weeks of January have had their ups and downs for me. At a friend's apartment the other day, I caught this poem pinned up by the door. I can't stop re-reading it.
Este ser humano es una casa de huéspedes.
Cada mañana una nueva llegada.
Una alegría, una depresión, una mezquindad,
llega una conciencia momentánea
como un visitante inesperado.
¡Dales la bienvenida y agasájalos a todos!
Aunque sean una multitud de penas,
que barren violentamente tu casa
vacío de muebles,
Aún así, trata a cada invitado con honor.
Puede que te esté limpiando

Who I'm following: Duncan Green's From Poverty to Power Blog - A blog that describes itself as 'a chance to compare notes on the great swirling cloud of chatter, opinion, argument and on-the-ground experience that makes the development scene so fascinating', I have appreciated the fresh, bold writing that in today's world of content production is increasingly rare. Well worth following.
5. What I'm thinking about: Sueños de vida - Over the last few days, several people have asked me, 'What's your dream?' But the truth is, I don't have one right now - at least, not one I can articulate. I feel very, muy lejos de conseguir uno. Entonces, ¿qué pasa si me gustaría tener uno? ¿Alguien lo ha descifrado ya?
